Bio

Michelle is a Naarm/Melbourne based composer and sound artist working with electronic music, sound design, and interactive media. They are inspired by art that is surreal, experimental, creates shared spaces, and explores experience.

They have also built interactive A/V installations as part of Wholegrain Ears for many nightclub events and outdoor music festivals, as well as creating audio works for SIGNAL Arts, Liquid Architecture, Multicultural Arts Victoria, and Melbourne Fringe Festival. After completing a Bachelor of Music with Honours (Composition) in 2018, Michelle has since been writing electronic music and is currently exploring an interest in audio technology through another degree in Audio Engineering at Collarts.

Michelle creates and collaborates on the land of the Wurundjeri and Boonwurrung people of the Kulin nation. They pay respects to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander culture and the Elders of these traditional lands past, present and emerging. Sovereignty has never been ceded and the fight for justice and recognition is ongoing.
